As I mentioned in a previous post on Indian English , one comes across hilarious examples all the time…….here’s another one.
The nice lady from personnel in the company I work for sent out an email welcoming this new guy in Finance. You know, the usual stuff: Anil joins us from yada yada yada where he was yada yada yada. He did his BCom from yada yada yada. Anil has also done his chartered accountant.
So all you people out there, studying to take your CA or CPA exams – don’t worry if you don’t make the grade. Go sleep with your CA or CPA instead. Apparently, in some companies, it’s an equivalent qualification.
