I love such short reviews π

Me too!
September 20, 2009 at 3:59 pm
I must say that is a very informative review. I was hoping to watch the movie after seeing the promos, although I did think Rani’s attempts at bad-English were too unnatural, doesn’t look like she has ever been to Punjab or ever heard someone speakofying english in northern india kyonki if she had she would have done a better job. What I did find interesting was the idea of a girl playing cricket as a boy.. there is a movie where a girl dresses like her brother to play football, i think it was called she is the man…
September 22, 2009 at 8:40 pm
Yes, ‘she is the man’ was it.
September 20, 2009 at 4:56 pm
Very Informative indeed π
September 20, 2009 at 7:21 pm
I haven’t seen it.
But which part of the movie was ‘utter’?
She’s The Man,
Indian Homemaker.
September 21, 2009 at 6:49 pm
Thank You, yes that is what it was called π I saw it in bits on the TV.
September 20, 2009 at 8:34 pm
he he, thanks for the deep review π
Why do you keep going to such hopeless movies – Love Aajkal, Hadipa???
Is the loverboy in you still alive?
September 20, 2009 at 8:43 pm
So with reference to that f word, there’s porn in the movie?
September 20, 2009 at 10:00 pm
[…] with a suprisingly happy ending.Β I loved the twist at the end.Β Alternatively, if I follow QI’s style, I’d just quote the Black Eyed Peas – ‘Boom Boom […]

That is the kind of review I like .
September 21, 2009 at 9:24 am
WAH WAH… best review i ever read of ANY movie… i mean the length of the review!! π My comment is longer than the post itself!! π
September 21, 2009 at 9:32 am
hahahaha!!!
now i need to watch the film π
September 21, 2009 at 9:42 am
I am disappointed that you actually went to watch it! Tsk!
September 21, 2009 at 10:50 am
Best review ever π
September 21, 2009 at 11:04 am
completely agree with the review. am a little sick of all these lifted movies. also somehow cannot stand rani. she has nothing going for her.
September 21, 2009 at 12:00 pm
Now if only all reviews were as to the point as this one π
September 21, 2009 at 12:10 pm
Ha..ha..ha.. simplest review ever.
From the promos it looked like Veer Zaara + Rab ne bana di jodi + Chak De India, all rolled into one with little bit of all Yashraj mush fest thrown here and there.
Shahid-Rani should get mismatched jodi of the year.
September 21, 2009 at 2:22 pm
Oh no! And I was looking forward to watching it! Sad. Lovely the pithiness of your review, Btw.
September 21, 2009 at 4:24 pm
[…] really was looking forward to watching Dil Bole Hadippa, but then I read Quirky’s exhaustiveΒ review, and decided to skip it. The movie, I […]

September 21, 2009 at 7:24 pm
I’ve got a question…Why? Why? Why?
September 21, 2009 at 8:21 pm
LOL, came in here through Pal !! This indeed is the best review ever !! and buddy, you wasted your time again by writing about this movie !! Such a torture, I tell you !!!
September 21, 2009 at 10:42 pm
So succinct. I would believe you and stay away. Did anyone see how Shobha De has really praised DBH to the stars? Another reason to stay away.
September 22, 2009 at 5:44 am
and you watched it? hahaha. I wont even download it if i can find a dvd print on the net. waste of bandwidth and download time.
September 22, 2009 at 12:18 pm
My attraction to the movie would depend on what parts of speech ‘utter’, ‘fucking’ and ‘crap’ are.
If the first and the last are proper nouns, and the middle one, a verb. Then, who knows, I might be interested! π
September 22, 2009 at 5:53 pm
Congratulations! You just won the Guinness for the world’s shortest film review!
September 22, 2009 at 8:15 pm
I would like to see this description legitimised and applied to more films. Garam Masala anyone?
September 22, 2009 at 8:42 pm
You should see wanted then.
September 23, 2009 at 12:57 pm
How precise …
September 25, 2009 at 7:53 am
Pithy !
September 25, 2009 at 2:32 pm
HAHAHHAHA
But, Q, I’m afraid i will still see it. You are a tough one to please π
October 13, 2009 at 8:25 am
didn’t see it finally.. Having burnt my fingers with Rashee, I’ve decided it is time to play safe!
September 30, 2009 at 10:28 am
@IHM: First! π Did you watch the film? Or did you watch Wanted?
@Dhiren: Thanks!
@Reema: My objective was to save everyone time and money, considering I had already wasted mine.
@Bones: π
@Smitha: I hope I saved you a few pounds…. π
@Kartikey: Every part was utter fucking crap. π
@Rakesh: I thought Wanted would be a bad film, so I thought I’d check this one out instead. Bad decision!
@AD: There’s no porn, but it’s a film that screws your happiness….so… π
@Kislay: There was nothing else to say about this film…
@Sakhi: π Thank you!
@OG: I hope you didn’t watch it.
@Anita: I am disappointed with myself. Never again.
@Poonam: π Thanks.
@MumbaiDiva: Welcome and thanks for the comment. Rani never had anything going for her….sheer luck, I suppose.
@Dreamer: Thanks. This review had just one objective: to save everyone’s time and money!
September 30, 2009 at 10:41 am
@Solilo: You’re right, it seemed to be a khichdi of all the worst bits of their older films….what a disaster.
@Pal: I am glad I saved you time and money. You’re welcome! π
@Smita: :-)Thanks. Haven’t been able to see Wanted yet….will catch it this weekend.
@Vee: Dhanyavaad, dhanyavaad! π
@Textualoffender: Temporary Insanity! How’re you?
@Vimmuuu: Welcome and thanks! Yes, this was such an awful film….that’s why I kept the review short….couldn’t stand writing more than three words about it.
@Shilpadesh: The De has praised DBH? How? Why? Why? Why am I surprised?
@Liju: Totally right – it is not even worth watching for free. Totally avoidable.
@Ketan: LOL. π
@D: Thanks! Did the Chopras win it for most awful movie ever? Or did Rakeysh Mehra and Ashutosh Gowariker take that prize?
@Desiderata: Garam Masala wasn’t nearly as bad as this. Trust me.
@Abhishek: Well, a lot of Wanted fans (and one Salman fan!) have been recommending Wanted….how did you like the film?
@Tazeen: Thank you. There was really nothing else to say!
@Ava: Thanks. π
@Anuja: π Please do let know what you thought of the film…..
October 1, 2009 at 7:01 am
