I was driving to a friend’s late Wednesday night, and stopped at a traffic light. And my eye caught this brightly-lit yellow sign. The secret of Dhoni’s good looks and sex-appeal is out. No surprises that he is a client, since this is obviously a very classy establishment. But will someone please tell me what “For She and Has” means? Is it some secret communication in an arcane language, known only to the well-groomed?

She and has is a typo. It was meant to be She and He. Meaning it is a unisex salon. Which is why there is a woman’s picture to the left of She and Dhoni (male) to the right of he.

Typo ka itna bawaal. We all come across hazaar such stuff in daily life.
But if you are trying to find some deeper meaning to it there cud be many. Who is that girl? Why the pic was taken so that her face doesn’t come clear? Is she seeing Dhoni or was seeing him? Did he propose marriage to her and then backed out? What does She & Has means; She has him/had him.. in what sense? Did She & Has went abroad for a vacation.. Ufff Aaj Tak wala haal kar diya maine toh..Hehehe.. 🙂

The usage ‘for she’ is quite consistent with a boo-boo many soi-disant educated people make. e.g. “Between you and I”* forgetting to remember that the usage here should be the accusative not the nominative case. It is important to have said ‘forgetting to remember’ because it demonstrates the speaker consciously attempting to avoid mistakes. In driving, their behaviour would probably be called ‘over correction’.
For the rest: it is entirely possible that ‘Has’ is a plural of “Ha”, a word we often use dismissively. The deeper meaning then is to dismiss any possibility of men entering the said beauty salon and emerging looking like Dhoni (though why he is quite the chosen one here, I couldn’t say; I find men, who do not attend the barber’s regularly unkempt and generally ugly).
*So common it is now the title of a book lamenting poor usage in the mainstream.
